The Vancouver Bar Association is pleased to announce and congratulate the 2011 recipient of the Peter S. Hyndman Mentorship Award: Robert G. Ward, Q.C. of Edwards, Kenny & Bray LLP

The Peter S. Hyndman Mentorship Award is conferred each year to recognize a member of the legal profession who has distinguished himself or herself as having been an outstanding mentor to younger lawyers.  Peter was, himself, an exemplary mentor who made extraordinary efforts to pass on his legal skills, wisdom, ethical insights, good judgment, commitment to decorum and civility and idealism to those, coming up through the ranks, who had the good fortune to work with him. Past recipients of the award are William S. Berardino, Q.C., Richard C.C. Peck, Q.C., Leonard T. Doust, Q.C., and Leon Getz, Q.C.
